Elisa Tully

Elisa Tully is an illustrator and comic artist who has been creating since she could walk. Driven by a love for creative storytelling, she earned her BFA in Illustration. Elisa’s work is inspired by personal experiences, the people she’s met, the places she’s been, and the quiet wonders of everyday life. She currently works as an artist assistant to boyishdeathtribe, a well established local comic artist.

Elisa’s work combines a raw look with fine, delicate pen-and-ink linework. Her pieces often explore moody themes with a dark whimsical twist. She is currently working on her debut comic Catula, a story about a cat that is forced to suppress a rat uprising in the streets Chicago—an eerie and humorous spin on the Dracula mythos—as well as the short story Birds of a Feather, a gentle, poetic tale of unexpected friendship.
